The Cup of Excellence is the most coveted award given out for top coffees. These awards come from a strict competition that selects the very best coffee produced in that country for that particular year and sold to the highest bidder during an internet auction. The Nicaraguan Cup of Excellence has its own flavour signature from the earth where it is grown. This coffee has a pleasant aroma and lively sweetness with good body.
Indonesian Bukit Sapan-Minanga Grade - 1 (Genuine Kalosi Toraja-Sulawesi triple hand sorted)
This big coffee is hailed as one of the best... bowing is permitted. Intense rich, thick syrupy body with a long dark chocolate finish. Develops and carries a unique flavour length of liquorice, aniseed and pepper over time which is not in any other coffee we have cupped. This coffee comes from the highest growing areas in the very north of Toraja like Pulau and brought down by hand to the local Sapan and Minanga markets. All hail this coffee.

Sigiri plantation, located in the Waghi Valley in the Western Highlands Province of Papua New Guinea, was established in the 1950’s and rapidly gained the reputation for producing the finest Arabic coffee in the country. Beautifully balanced shade grown & sundried coffee, with deep chocolate characteristics and soft acidity and a long smooth, sweet finish.
